!980 -1985 Formed 4FX, a Sydney based film special effects company designing and building mechanical props and special effects.

Feature Films including Mad Max (vehicles), Crocodile Dundee, TV and cinema commercials: Coca Cola, Ford, Toyota, BHP and many more.
1985 - 1993
Formed Standby Films, Sydney, Australia, a production house producing Music video and TV Commercials. Also worked in association with Alex Proyas (IRobot, Dark City) of Meaningful Eye Contact. and concept creation for Clemengers Ad agency, Sydney, Australia.

TV/Cinema Commercials. Datsun, Ford, Samsung, IBM, Hilton Hotels and World Aids Day. Commissioned by Australian Film Commission to develop original feature film screenplay ‘Paint.’
!994 - 2003
Moved back to Europe to travel, write and develop digital music recording. Formed music project 'Neverheardofthem'. Bought property in France hosting choral singing, photographic and film courses, art exhibitions and developing scripts.
2004 - Current:
Formed www.colinmichael.com (UK) and www.algarvefilms.com (Portugal) producing web media focusing on developing on-line video compression and production for promoting businesses, products and entertainment. All facets of production are in- house including music production, voice-over, editing and special effects. Also developing ‘Face to Face’ a satirical socio-political format for TV. Also partner to www.justgoguides.com an online travel guide.
