Casa
do Visconde is a beautifully restored 17th century manor
house in the village of Canas de Senhorim between Nelas
and Corregal do Sal in Northern Portugal.
The
owners, Lira and Pitum, inherited this beautiful estate
from the Viscount of Pedralva, the agriculture minister
in the first republic of Portugal in 1910 and have preserved
it' s integrity and beauty perfectly. It has accommodation
both in the main Manor house and in converted stables,
a swimming pool, studios, exhibition spaces, workshops,
conference and meeting rooms, orchards, horse stables
and a stunning courtyard.
The peaceful
ambience of Casa do Visconde is truly inspiring and perfect
for courses in the creative arts and all group workshops. |
