A Four Day Seminar/Workshop on Complimentery Health, Medicine and Therapies

At Monte Rosa, Algarve, Portugal.

Courses currently being planned for Spring/Summer 2007

These courses are designed for anyone wishing to investigate the enormous benefits of complementary medicine and therapies. Whether you have ailments that have not responded to 'conventional ' western style treatment, have experienced successful treatment by 'alternative' medical treatments and wish to look further, or simply need more energy or alleviate unnecessary stress, this course will explain and demonstrate the numerous options available to you.

Over four days our team of qualified and experienced therapists, tutors and practitioners will conduct workshops and talks explaining in detail the principles of a broad range of complimentary therapies and medicine. By the end of the four days you will realize that to live a healthy, happy, balanced life you do not need to be a vegetarian, non-smoking, alcohol-free, fun-free, jogging, squeaky clean soul. You just have to be in touch with your own mind and body and therefore be in control.

It is a fact that practitioners in complimentary medicine have become involved simply because they have benefited first hand from it and have therefore developed a conviction of its authenticity and have a desire to use their experience to benefit others.

Complimentary medicine and therapies do not set out to challenge western medicine practices as is often thought. If you are dragged from a car accident with your legs hanging off, acupuncture, yoga, reiki or any other of the many complimentary therapies would not be helpful, but if you wish to maintain a healthy lifestyle in mind and body they will give you the tools to enable this and allow you to live a full and rewarding life.

Unfortunately western medicine has become a burgeoning and highly profitable industry with resources that enable it to finance a campaign that has successfully convinced the public at large of its unquestionable validity but has somehow disempowered the public of their own responsibility for their own health. If you go to your GP complaining of an ailment it is likely that he or she will initially treat the symptoms of that ailment and not ask you if you eat processed or 'junk' food, are happy with your work or personal life, or any other issue that may be physically affecting you. He or she will more likely prescribe pain killers, antibiotics or worst still send you for tests and you will soon find, if you persist, you are on a helter skelter ride of paranoia, when possibly your ailments are simply caused by ingesting the numerous chemicals used in freely available foods or just lack the tools required to live a healthy balanced life.

There have been many pharmaceutical drug scandals that illustrate the precarious path that western medicine is treading and the repercussions, as we all know, can be devastating. For example: MRSA, the hospital contracted super bug that last year killed over 5,000 people in the UK. It is a fact that hospitals have never been biologically cleaner, thanks to advances in chemical cleaners and the diligence of hospital staff. The truth is, in the last fifty or so years, Doctors have been prescribing anti-biotic's as a matter of course for the slightest ailment due to their quick fix results. The result of prolonged administration of anti-biotic's, sadly, is a deterioration of the body's immune system, there fore making one far more vulnerable to rare infections and 'super bugs' that a healthy immune system would knock on the head before it had a chance to introduce itself.

Sadly I speak from experience. I recently lost father after he endured over two years of painful deterioration due to MRSA following knee replacement surgery. It took over 3 months after the operation before the National Health actually admitted that his condition was not an unspecified infection but MRSA! This drove me to find out more.

This course will show you how to take control and responsibility for your own health and well being and release you to get on with your life, if you dare to embrace it.
