Digital
Photography - Explore the Potentials
This
course in digital photography runs from a Monday
to a Friday and are held at Monte Rosa, near
Lagos on the far west of the Algarve, Portugal,
one of the most beautiful places in Europe with
numerous beaches with crystal clear sea and
stunning countryside in the surrounding area.
The
course is fully inclusive including all transportation
(airport pick-ups), professional tuition, meals
and accommodation. All food served is organic
where possible with an emphasis on a healthy
diet. Special dietary requirements can be catered
for.

You
can arrive on a Sunday (preferable,) an introduction
dinner will be served at around 7.30pm (Optional)
The
course commences at 9.00 am on a Monday.
This 5 day course on digital
photography explores the potential of this media
using Adobe Photoshop, a professional programme
that allows a sophisticated level of image manipulation.
You will design a poster advertising an event
such as a band gig and a CD cover and label for
your CD. Add colour, text, light and layers to
your photographs and designs. These sessions aim
to cover the basics and offer student access to
the more intricate photoshop tools. A basic knowledge
of the Windows or Mac environment and programmes
such as Word is required. Some course notes will
