"If it ain't easy".

a book by Tom Wilson

It's an old story. You wake eyelids propped open at half mast and as you stagger head long into a new day, you pray you meet the coffee god before what you used to recognize as your body completely gives up the ghost. Sound familiar? In fact you’ve wondered many times at the miracle of how you drag yourself through the day. Now you know that a little movement a day would help. Your comatose mind, in moments of occasional clarity, remembers someone saying how... was it yoga?... or tai chi?... or something?... was supposed to help this impending feeling of lethargy. But who’s got the time, right? And anyway, it always seemed such hard work to learn that stuff! Puff and the brief glimmer is gone. You return your thoughts to dark Java! ALL I WANT IS A LITTLE ENERGY!!! Is the cry from your much neglected body. A tune up! A stretch! A little TLC!. Alas, this cry so often falls on deaf ears. We just whistle and look the other way. And to be honest, it is tough to get those things going. Its hard to find the routine, that for 30minutes a day would make so much difference. The luxury of spending a little time with ourselves is not one we often invest in. The first paragraph has a very familiar feel to it! So for purely selfish reasons, and to help start my own kick in the butt, I decided to put together this little book. If it ain’t easy, I don’t want to do it!
