After
living in the UK for seven years teaching English
and French, I have now returned to Portugal where
I was born. Relocating to the Algarve made perfect
sense to me as that's where my family is from and
the place is full of childhood memories of long,
warm summer holidays, playing in the sea and living
in contact with nature. The Algarve is visited by
many tourists who enjoy its beautiful scenery, warm
weather and excellent food, but to truly appreciate
a place and its people you have to know the language.
Portuguese is a beautiful language and can sound
different and unexpected to the visitor, yet it's
not difficult to learn and due to its Latin roots
its structure is not much different from Spanish
or French. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy
the un spoilt southwest of the Algarve with a difference
by being able to speak and understand this amazing
language. I have a degree in Portuguese and English
Languages and Literature, an Alliance Française
Language and Literature
diploma and teaching experience both in Portugal
and in Britain. I am currently giving private lessons
in Portuguese, English and French. |
The
Course.
This
course in the Portuguese language for beginners
is designed to get you speaking this beautiful
language with well tried and tested techniques
that Cristine has used for years. By the end of

in conversational Portuguese. More advanced courses
will be available soon.
